ALUMNI CONNECT brings that back—a private social network for alumni who’d rather reconnect with the people they graduated with than shout into the noise of Instagram or Facebook. No feed deciding what you see. No ads. No strangers. No chasing likes. Just your class, in one quiet place that belongs to you.
Connection without the algorithm
The big platforms bury your fellow alumni under sponsored posts and endless suggestions from people you’ve never met. ALUMNI CONNECT does the opposite. Everything you see is your class—nothing more, nothing less, shown in the order it was shared. What you post reaches your fellow alumni, every time, without a machine deciding whether it’s worth showing. It’s the reconnection those platforms promised and never delivered.
What’s included
Your ALUMNI NETWORK opens with a landing page built to welcome fellow alumni home. A warm site intro greets them and invites them into the private space to reconnect and interact. From there, clear links guide the way—a LINK to the ALUMNI FEED, where the class shares moments past and present, and a LINK to a HOW TO page that helps every member get started with ease.
Below, the ALUMNI LINK BUTTONS fill in as fellow alumni JOIN THE ALUMNI NETWORK and connect their website or social—a living wall of the whole class that grows one member at a time.
The ALUMNI FEED itself is the heart of it all: one private stream of photos, video, and stories that belongs only to the class. No algorithm curates it. No outsider can see it.
Owners can extend their landing page with optional customizations—like EVENT/PROMO BANNERS to spotlight alumni-only activities and events, from reunions and regional meetups to fundraisers and class news (max size 1080×1440px, Instagram portrait format). Talk with your assigned DESIGN/BUILDER about custom requests and pricing options.
For the strongest protection of your alumni’s privacy and data, ALUMNI CONNECT works best on its own PRIVATE SERVER—keeping every associated site, profile, and piece of information fully separated from shared infrastructure. If you activate individual member dashboards for your network, we especially encourage adding a PRIVATE SERVER to house every connected site on secure, private infrastructure—so your fellow alumni’s information stays truly yours, and theirs. Only the network owner can add a PRIVATE SERVER. Talk with your assigned DESIGN/BUILDER for details and a quote.
What it costs
$250 to start, then $25/month—with your first month free.
Your one-time $250 activation covers the design and build of your private ALUMNI NETWORK—landing page, ALUMNI FEED, and the JOIN mechanic that brings your class together. Your first month of hosting is free. After that, hosting is just $25/month to keep your network live, secure, and always available to your class. Billed monthly, cancel anytime. No hidden fees, no surprises.
Add-Ons & Upsells
ALUMNI NETWORK ACTIVATION OPT-IN — The owner’s on-switch for individual member dashboards. Once activated, a dedicated ALUMNI DASHBOARD listing is created for your network—a link you can send to your alumni list—and any alum who purchases through it is automatically connected to your network. $5, one-time.
ALUMNI DASHBOARD — Lets an individual alum hold their own connected space within the network: a personal header, intro, link buttons, an ALUMNI FEED that posts to the main class feed, an ALUMNI PROFILE, and a shareable digital business card. $100 per alum, one-time. Requires the ALUMNI NETWORK ACTIVATION OPT-IN.
REUNION FEED — A dedicated space to gather the moments from a reunion as they happen—photos, video, and text—so nothing from the weekend gets lost. Basic $250 / Custom $500, flat, per reunion.
ALUMNI SHOP — A private page within your network that gathers all your ALUMNI MERCH in one spot and links out to wherever it’s sold. A curated links page, not a standalone store. $50, flat.
VERIFIED ALUMNI PLUGIN — Adds a login requirement so only authorized alumni can enter. The owner supplies the authorized email list to their DESIGN/BUILDER. $50, flat.
PRIVATE SERVER — Host your ALUMNI NETWORK on its own dedicated private server, fully separated from shared infrastructure—the highest level of privacy, security, and data ownership. Only the network owner can add one. Monthly cost varies by server size; quoted to your needs.
